Directions to the Midwest Regional Unicycle Competition at Rochelle Middle
School, Rochelle, IL:
Rochelle is a small farm town of about 9500 fine folks and is out in the country about 1˝-2 hours west of Chicago and about 45 minutes south of the Illinois/Wisconsin borderline. More specifically, we are ˝ south of Rockford, IL and 20 minutes west of DeKalb, IL. Rochelle is at the intersection of I-88 and I-39. The maps below show directions to Rochelle Middle School from the interstate intersection.
Directions
from the south, east, or west:
From I-88,
take I-39 north toward Rockford about 1 mile to Rt. 38 at Exit 99,
DeKalb/Rochelle. At the top of the exit
ramp, turn west toward the Petro Truck Stop and travel 1˝ miles to Rochelle. Turn south on Caron Road by the Caron Ridge
Shopping Center that includes an Eagle Country Market grocery store and an
Arby’s out by Rt. 38. Turn west on
School Ave., the fourth road to the west from the intersection of Rt. 38 and
Caron Rd. Rochelle Middle School is two
blocks on the south side of the road.
Please use the entrance on the east side of the building toward the rear
of the school.

from the north:
From southbound on I-90, take the last Rockford exit onto By-Pass 20 to the west. Travel around the south side of Rockford on By-Pass 20 to I-39 south. Take I-39 south ˝ hour to Rt. 38 at Exit 99, DeKalb/Rochelle. At the top of the exit ramp, turn west toward the Petro Truck Stop and travel 1˝ miles to Rochelle. Turn south on Caron Road by the Caron Ridge Shopping Center that includes an Eagle Country Market grocery store and an Arby’s out by Rt. 38.
